It started off modestly enough. I’d hold a nice little contest and give away a copy of REAL MERMAIDS DON’T WEAR TOE RINGS.
Lovely, right? … but it wouldn’ t be ENOUGH. So, then I thought, huh…maybe I’ll do a fun #hashtag contest on Twitter and give away FIVE copies.
Cool! …but what about people who aren’t on Twitter? What about all my Facebook pals? Shouldn’t I give away a few copies over there? Maybe FIVE copies there, too?? So, okay, okay.
